Hazardous material packaging and shipping capabilities vary by independently owned and operated Craters & Freighters locations. Each location determines the hazardous materials it is qualified and authorized to pack and ship in accordance with applicable regulations and carrier requirements.

As a result, certain locations may be unable to accept, package, or transport some hazardous materials, including but not limited to:

• Explosives, Class 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.5, and fireworks
• Toxic Gases, Class 2.3
• Spontaneously Combustible Materials, Class 4.2
• Dangerous When Wet Materials, Class 4.3
• Organic Peroxides, Class 5.2
• Poisonous, Toxic, or Infectious Substances, Class 6
• Radioactive Materials, Class 7 (including I-White, II-Yellow, III-Yellow, and Fissile materials)
• Hazardous waste
• Liquids or chemicals that have been opened or removed from their original packaging
• Gunpowder, ammunition, cartridges, and primers
• Materials requiring PHMSA registration
